Stoneware /Raku/Crank Clay

Stoneware SC1 - 1150 - 1280 firing range. Smooth, general purpose clay, plastic and resilient, containing fine grog. Excellent for modelling, throwing and casting.
Stoneware SC2 - 1150 - 1280 firing range. Grogged and similar to SC1 but containing 10% fine grog for strength. Suitable for throwing and hand building. Excellent resistance to warping and cracking.
Stoneware SC3 - 1150 - 1280 firing range. Medium texture, multi purpose clay with speckle under oxidation. Good throwing body for large or small forms

Stoneware SC4 1150 - 1280 firing range.    An excellent throwing clay with attractive dark fleck on a grey/buff backround. Under high temps the iron bleeds trough to give a reduction effect under oxidising conditions
Stoneware SC5 - 1150 - 1280 firing range. Smooth texture, toasted body reduction look under oxidising conditions. Contains fine grog. Suitable for throwing, hand building and casting.
Crank/Raku SC6 - 1200 - 1280 firing range. Coarse clay, fires to warm tan colour in reduction. Suitable for large sculptural pieces and slab work. Highly resistant to thermal shock making it very suitable to Raku.
Buff stoneware SC7 - 1200 - 1280 firing range. Smooth/medium, added fine grog texture. Fires to light grey. Suitable for throwing and hand building. Good resistance to warping and cracking.
Buff stoneware SC8 - 1200 - 1280 firing range. As SC7 but 10% added sand. Smooth/medium texture. Fires light grey. Suitable for throwing and hand building.
Stoneware SC9 - 1150 - 1280 firing range. Medium texture with grog. Excellent throwing properties, for slall or large ware.
Stoneware SC10 - 1220 - 1280 firing range. Smooth body. Low Iron clay. Fires to a light colour. Extra fine sand added. Ideal for throwing.
Stoneware SC11 - 1220 - 1280 firing range. Smooth body. Fires white. Includes added sand 10% 40/90 mesh. Ideal for throwing.
Stoneware SC12 - 1220 - 1280 firing range. Smooth body, fires white and includes added Molochite. Ideal for throwing.
Stoneware SC13 - 1220 - 1280 firing range. Coarse clay. ideal for modelling and large hand building.
